One of the best of the bunch, in my opinion, and Watling is pretty damn foxy in it. In fact, I might need to track down the entire Leonor Watling back catalogue. I've always preferred brunettes, and she has all the right curves in all the right places.

*takes cold shower*

*hopes his wife never reads these comments*

De la Iglesia's older stuff - 'Day of the Beast', 'Perdita Durango' - is effortlessly better than 'Oxford Murders', but it still merits a cursory viewing.

J.D. - "mildly" is the right word.Neil Fulwoodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14686296295535235988noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14575780.post-55994659425027574112010-04-15T15:49:59.389+01:002010-04-15T15:49:59.389+01:00Hmm... interesting review! I've always wanted to check it out, and only because I saw Leonor Watling in THE BABY'S ROOM (also directed by De la Iglesia if I'm not mistaken) and thought she was pretty hot! :) I've also been wanting to check out more of Alex De La Iglesia's films because I've heard a lot of great things about them. Of course I was thinking more along the lines of his older films like ACCION MUTANTE, DAY OF THE BEAST, etc., but the pairing of Watling and De Le Iglesia in this is what appealed to me. But when I do get around to it, I'll be sure to rent it first!Aaronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08390842606960468754noreply@blogger.com
