In fact, he convinces as a tough guy more effectively than many of today's supposed action heroes half his age. Just couldn'e escape the feling I was watching the same character throughout but with a different name.<br /> Hard to believe he is 58 and making movies like this isn't it?BRENThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15953231992674091002noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14575780.post-73269164451537041172011-05-20T00:04:22.164+01:002011-05-20T00:04:22.164+01:00I haven't seen 'Unknown', but just wat...I haven't seen 'Unknown', but just watching the trailer on YouTube proved you right. I'd be very hesitant in approaching it, I think. The best thing would have been for the producers of 'Taken' to have commissioned a script for an official sequel. Neeson fitted the character so well.Neil Fulwoodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14686296295535235988noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14575780.post-17146157388621608702011-05-19T09:10:59.642+01:002011-05-19T09:10:59.642+01:00I agree. It certainly had it flaws as you say.<br /> Unfortunately Neeson's next outing, Unknown, tried to be a carbon copy. It was Taken but set in Berlin. All the way through it I never felt Neeson was playing a new character but a thin disguise of his Taken one.<br /> In many respects his character maybe should have been revived and a script built around him rather than produce Unknown.BRENThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15953231992674091002noreply@blogger.com
