Sounds like it was a hell of a gig!

Maiden are definitely one of the few bands who sound just as good (if not better) live than they do in the studio.

'Always Look on the Bright Side of Life' was used as the end credits music in the documentary and I was laughing out loud when it started playing!Neil Fulwoodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14686296295535235988noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14575780.post-52719274516985295982010-03-15T12:16:21.967+00:002010-03-15T12:16:21.967+00:00Hey Neil! I enjoyed it so much!

Puerto Rico actually appears on this dvd, and it just so happens to be my favorite song: Wasted Years. That song just gets to me, I love it!

The stage was freaking awesome, they had different album covers as background to each of their songs, plus the whole stage looked like some ancient Egyptian pyramid thing, awesome. When Eddie comes out with lazer guns in hand and everything...freaking cool.

I agree with ya, these guys seem very down to earth. I amazed how much these guys still rock, the singer jumps around stage like he was 20 years old!

Funniest part of the show? When it ended, and they played their encore and everything, as a background song for people to walk out of the concert, they played a "Look on the bright side of life" from Monty Pythons Life of Brian, coolest part is that everyone was whistling it as they walked out of the concert.

Awesome experience, and a good concert dvd too. I also have "Live after Death" which I enjoyed as well.Franco Macabrohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10994905312221715861noreply@blogger.com
