Honestly, I haven't seen a lot of Rollin's films - a handful, maybe - but what I have seen, I really fell in love with. I think FASCINATION may have been my first Rollin film, and while I was pretty underwhelmed with it as a whole, there was something "off" about it that I really loved and thought about long after seeing it. Besides, the image of Lahaie half-naked and wielding a scythe is pretty fucking amazing in and of itself. GRAPES OF DEATH is definitely my favorite Rollin movie that I've seen thus far.<br /><br />I hope you get around to seeing more of Rollin's films, and I should seek out more of them now that I think about it. The more you watch his films, the more you'll notice a lot of the same themes and conventions pop up, other than the obvious (lesbians and vampires).<br /><br />R.I.P.
