I'll be posting the last few articles in the Tarkovsky retrospective, catching up with a couple of titles from the personal faves list and hosting a handful of guest articles. November might be a thinner month than usual, but I'll try to put at least two new pieces of material on The Agitation of the Mind each week.
Do bare with me. December will be full-on, full-blooded and worth the wait.

Thanks for being such a exuberant participant in the blog-a-thon. I look forward to the Peckinpah stuff...I'll make sure to let my brother know as he's a HUGE fan of his...I'm kind of lukewarm on him but have always been curious as to why people like his work so much, so I'll be studying this blog in December. See ya then.
lukewarm?!! Heresy! ; )
Kidding, of course. Ol' Peckinpah is certainly an acquired taste to be sure.
Ive seen Peckinpahs The Wild Bunch, but thats about it. I wouldnt mind getting an education on the guy with this blog!
Looking forward to it!
Kevin - thanks for the comment. It was a blast joining in your blog-a-thon. Hopefully I'll have found those missing Bava titles for next year's!
J.D. - you've been flying the flag for the Peckinpah tribute month since I announced it. Look forward to reading your comments during the course of Decemeber.
Connoissueur - 'The Wild Bunch' is probably the fullest synthesis of the themes and concerns that inform Peckinpah's filmography; I hope you'll find it interesting to discover how, say, 'Ride the High Country' is virtually the template for his other westerns, or how 'Straw Dogs' and 'Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia' relocate the iconography of the western to contemporary settings. Please keep checking the blog throughout December and feel free to leave comments.
Neil are you excepting Guest Articles?
Peckinpah's one of my favorites and I'd love to participate.
Either way I can't wait.
Guest articles are definitely welcome. Happy to post or link to any article by a fellow Peckinpah fan.
