Check out Murder By Contract if you haven't already. It's a 50's noir with a particularly cold killer that I know you'll enjoy. Blast of Silence is also a blast. Meh heh.

Funnily enough, a friend recently recommended 'Murder By Contract' apropos of a conversation about our favourite films noir, casual killers and duplicitous dames (he also castigated me for my tendency to alliteration!) - it, and 'Blast of Silence' are now on my "must see" list.
